Tree Pruning

If a tree is diseased, dangerous or has simply outgrown its position, this can result in a complete removal. If space allows we will fell your tree into a suitable designated area from the ground using precise directional felling techniques.

However if your tree requires to be taken down in sections this can be achieved by the careful lowering of branches and timber using appropriate lowering techniques.

This is when you remove some of the tree's branches/limbs including dead, diseased or damaged ones, in order to reduce the height and/or width.

Pruning is one of the best things you can do for a tree's long-term health, as this allows for new growth, resulting in a polished finish.

Crown Raising

Crown Reduction

This is the process of removing lower hanging branches, which is either done to allow more light beneath the tree to the ground, to improve views or remove dangerous branches that are overhanging a road/pavement or driveway. In order to maximise the space between the ground and the lower branches.

This is when you reduce the height of the tree and spread out the tree's crown, keeping the shape the same.

This can be done for several reason, to allow more light to the rest of the lower tree and your garden, also if the tree has grown too high and become unstable.

Pollarding

Other Services

This is the method where the tree is cut back to keep it smaller than it would naturally grow.

There are many benefits to this, such as reducing the amount of shade caused by the tree, preventing the tree from outgrowing its allotted space and prolonging the life of the tree itself. Pollarding can only be carried out on certain types of tree's.

If a service you require isn't listed, please feel free to contact us using the contact form or by giving us a call, we'll do our very best to help.
